About Us

Paradise Cycles originated with a stencil, used to adorn the top tubes of some cheap single speed bikes with a representative namesake. From this effort to brand up a few bikes came the incentive to use our experiences both in the bike industry and as fanatical cyclists to help get our friends cycling in the city on reliable bicycles, made to fit and suit their budget. Thanks to the efforts of our co-founders & loyal customers we are happy to be able to offer a range of services to the wider cycling community of East London. Our professional workshop on Roman Road now stocks over 1000 different replacement parts, and equipped enough to deal with most types of bicycle. Our mechanics have industry benchmark qualifications, such as Cytech Level 2 and City & Guilds Level 2 (as well as an Engineering degree from Queen Mary), to ensure that all work performed is to the highest standard every time.

Please Note: The price & build specifications of bicycles advertised for sale on this website are subject to change without notice, normally attributed to the replacement of worn or damaged second-hand components. We endeavour to update our website as frequently as possible, but due to the nature of custom bike building, we cannot guarantee the price or availability of bicycles & frames unless you enquire directly by phone or email.

Custom Build Terms: Our capacity for completing custom builds is limited, so we can only dedicate labour time to your order after receiving a deposit. To make an enquiry please don't hesitate to send us an email or give us a call.

Workshop Guarantee: If we undertake a repair, service or restoration that cannot be completed due to excessive wear or damage to the bicycle, we will not charge for the work done until that point. We cannot accept responsibility for costs incurred through attempting to powder coat a bent, dinged or hole ridden frame set. Unless otherwise stated all secondhand bikes are free from any seized parts, major damage , and have been found to be safe and in full working order. Bikes over 10 years old will usually have typical levels wear and tear, and may have some residual (and unavoidable) corrosion or rust present on the bolts & spoke nipples despite the strip down, clean, re-grease and set-up performed by our mechanic.
